While the network omitted ACORN’s name from an October 9 news brief about a raid on the organization’s Las Vegas office, the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s story about the raid acknowledged how ACORN 'has a liberal political agenda and ties to Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.'"

Bishop Holley Calls on Black Community to Stop Planned Parenthood's Racial Slaughter

WASHINGTON, D.C., October 16, 2008 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Bishop Martin D. Holley, Auxiliary Bishop of Washington, issued a statement responding to a report by Planned Parenthood's Guttmacher Institute showing that black women have abortions at five times the rate of white women.

"The number one cause of death in the African American community has been abortion. We have lost over 13 million lives. To put that in perspective, it is one third of our present Black population," wrote the bishop. "It [abortion] clearly must be at the heart and center of our discussion of the survival of African American people."

Bishop Holley serves as Chair of the Sub-Committee on African American Affairs and is a member of the Committee on Pro-Life Activities of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).

The bishop condemned the $300 million of federal government funding poured into Planned Parenthood every year, and vowed to "join my voice with others in the Black community who have called for the defunding of the abortion industry."

The report cited was released in September by the Guttmacher Institute, Planned Parenthood's research branch, whose avowed mission is to "protect the reproductive choices of all women and men in the United States and throughout the world." (http://www.lifesitenews.com/ldn/2008/sep/08092308.html)

"As an African American, I am saddened by evidence that Black women continue to be targeted by the abortion industry. The loss of any child from abortion is a tragedy, but we must ask: Why are minority children being aborted at such disproportionate rates?" Bishop Holley said.

"Over 80 percent of Planned Parenthood clinics are located in minority neighborhoods," he lamented. "Margaret Sanger, the founder of Planned Parenthood, began the 'Negro Project' to reduce the Black population.

"My brothers and sisters, we can overcome abortion in our nation. Let us defend our community by rededicating ourselves to family life and marriage, promoting the gift of chastity and marital fidelity, committing ourselves to prayer and service to others and defending the life and dignity of each human person. We can welcome every child as a gift and we can overcome abortion."

The Case Against Barack Obama, Part 1

"In promoting his tax cuts, President Kennedy said, 'The soundest way to raise the revenues in the long run is to cut the (tax) rates now.' When Kennedy says it, it's Camelot. When Reagan says it, it's trickledown. By the way, Kennedy cut taxes by 22 percent (reducing the top marginal rate from 90 percent to 70 percent), and Reagan by 60 percent (top marginal rate from 70 percent to 28 percent). The "unfair, pro-rich" Bush tax cuts that are set to expire? A reduction in the top marginal rate of approximately 7.5 percent. A recent headline in Agence France-Presse says it all: 'Sweden Announces Income Tax Cuts to Boost Jobs.'"

Charlotte Planned Parenthood Covers Up Statutory Rape

"SFLA followed up to find out if Planned Parenthood reported the rape. It had not. The girl falls within the definition of “abused juvenile” under North Carolina law, and the abortion mill was obligated under N.C. Gen. Statue 7B-301 to report the statutory rape:

“'Any person or institution who has cause to suspect that any juvenile is abused, neglected…shall report the case of that juvenile to the director of the department of social services in the county where the juvenile resides or is found.'”

OBAMA AND THE "PROFESSIONAL BLACK-VICTIMS CARTEL"

"Pity the struggling middle class black Americans who simply work to better themselves with nice homes in the suburbs, nice schools for their kids, nice cars and clothes- all the things any of us want. Why I will never vote for a murderer

"I told the congregation (with some passion), that I would never, ever vote for a man who advocated the murder of a child in the womb. "The next day, Oct 2^nd, this young unsuspecting housewife found two individuals at her door posing as Secret Service agents sent because of her ‘rude’ remarks during a campaign worker’s call. Let’s be honest, the Secret Service has better things to do than play the ‘polite police’. Aside from Jessica’s perceived rudeness, does ‘bad tone’ now fall under the jurisdiction of the Secret Service? Couldn’t the local cops handle bad behavior if there was any? Truly, this wasn’t about her manners. This was the vengeance of a bitter campaign worker disgusted that Jessica had the audacity to know Obama’s history of voting four times against the Infant Born Alive Act in Illinois, and even worse, Jessica having the freedom to speak of it."

"The visit of these Secret Service agents, if they really were such, was started as an intimidation tactic by someone in the Obama campaign who wanted to silence Jessica’s opposition. Jessica wisely noted it was doubtful a phone bank volunteer had the clout to call in the Secret Service. It was likely someone from ‘higher’ up in the campaign. Frightening, that Obama’s campaign has enough power to have the Secret Service show up in under 24 hours and intimidate anyone for saying a simple ‘no’ to Obama. More frightening, they didn’t mind misusing their power to achieve their goal. This is BEFORE he is elected; imagine what happens should he be elected. The agents even suggested that 'next time she just go along with the caller and say count me in.' The agents threatened Jessica’s reputation by insinuating they would ‘talk’ to neighbors and friends.
