Final Touches

"WMR has learned from knowledgeable Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) sources that the Bush administration is putting the final touches on a plan that would see martial law declared in the United States with various scenarios anticipated as triggers. The triggers include a continuing economic collapse with massive social unrest, bank closures resulting in violence against financial institutions, and another fraudulent presidential election that would result in rioting in major cities and campuses around the country."

Guilty by Participation: Barack Obama’s radical associations and what they mean

"Sixth, with the Democrats almost certain to have substantial majorities in both houses of Congress, who would constrain a President Obama?"

The NAACP Abandons the Black Family

"As an African American who feels that black families have the most to lose if marriage is re-defined, I have been shocked by the lack of support that traditional civil rights organizations have given to the marriage amendment. Any true advocate for the health of black families should be incensed because of the decline of the black family. Many black social problems - from poverty to poor academic performance in school - are exacerbated by the curse of black fatherlessness and the soaring number of out-of-wedlock births."

ACORN's Rap Sheet

"But ACORN continues to submit fraudulent voter applications."

Help wanted: President - no experience required

  • "Imagine an entry-level lawyer who expects to become head of that legal firm in 143 days.
  • Or perhaps a sales person of a department store such as Nordstroms believing he's earned the right to become CEO in just 143 days?
  • Even in the progressive environment on our college campuses, an untenured college professor would lack the experience required to become college president in just 143 days.
  • How about a postal carrier? Would they believe they are qualified to run the U.S. Postal Service in their city after just 143 days of work without any prior experience? (Even if they went to Harvard)."

Obama's Magic

"And now, America, we introduce the Great Obama! The world's most gifted political magician! A thing of wonder. A thing of awe. Just watch him defy politics, economics, even gravity! (And hold your applause until the end, please.)

"For his next trick, the Great Obama will jumpstart the economy, and he'll do it by raising taxes on the very businesses that are today adrift in a financial tsunami! That will include all those among the top 1% of taxpayers who are in fact small-business owners, and the nation's biggest employers who currently pay some of the highest corporate tax rates in the developed world. Mr. Obama will, with a flick of his fingers, show them how to create more jobs with less money. It's simple, really. He has a wand."

Democrat official joins pro-Obama voter fraud

"Barack Obama is the most dangerous and frightening presidential candidate in US history. If he commandeers the presidency of the United States, we will have no way to vote him out at the next election. His voter fraud group ACORN will have additional millions of dollars allocated to it and there will never again be honest elections in the USA and no doubt his 'Truth Squads' will have become an Obama law enforcement agency. He has already shown us with his current truth squads and University appearances that any and all opposition-to-him (IE free speech) will be banned.

"All anyone has to do is open their eyes and ears to what this man says and — then — what he actually does. We are in the most hazardous time in our country's history. If we do not choose to fight the looming betrayal and oppression we will die. It is what it is."

Freedom of speech threats in the presidential race

Stanley Kurtz: "I was scheduled to go on the Milt Rosenberg show, maybe the first or second day after I started looking at those documents in the archives at the University of Illinois, Chicago, and I spoke with a radio producer a few hours before I came out there. He told me that he had called the Obama campaign and had invited them to send a representative on to debate me. He said that they refused to send a representative and they demand that I not be allowed to go on the radio, and when Rosenberg and his people had said that they wouldn't do that they asked for the name of the-I don't know whoever was the head of the station was-so they called and demanded I not be allowed on the radio. I knew that when I went down there, but even so I just thought it was some strange oddity. I didn't take it that seriously, and when I got there I heard from someone that they had already (this was a half hour before I went on) I heard that they had already received 7,000 phone calls demanding that I not be allowed onto the radio.

"At that point I was sitting in this big lobby at the Chicago Tribune building which is a very famous old building in Chicago, and the whole lining of the lobby is filled with beautiful things chiseled into the stone of about free speech and free press. So, I kind of read those, and took some of them down and used that later on the show."

Desperate Democrats call for "desperate Republican" press coverage

"Gee, liberals — have you stopped to wonder if maybe it's not us, but you? Perhaps if you stopped running candidates who show contempt for America every election, we might stop noticing your candidates' contempt for America every election! Republicans questioning Democrats' patriotism is not a manifestation of 'desperation' — it is a manifestation of basic observational skills."

and

"While Republicans have to depend on bloggers to invalidate liberal lies about them (i.e. the 2004 CBS 'Rathergate' scandal), Democrats have major media outlets like CNN at their disposal ready at the whim to pounce on any charges made against them within a heartbeat. The Smear-Free Democrats need not bother getting their own hands dirty and can rely on the mainstream media to malign their opponents — i.e. Keith Olbermann at MSNBC carping about John McCain's 'continuing association with radicals from the 1970s' on the basis of a "public conversation" McCain had with G. Gordon Liddy in November 2007 — thereby resting his case that McCain 'hates the constitution.'

"Meanwhile, Republican candidates like Sarah Palin don't have a mass-media propaganda machine to depend on, thus they are left to their own devices to illuminate questionable associations their opponents have had with, well, questionable individuals. And the moment they do — they are instantaneously gang-raped for it and subsequently laughed off as 'desperate.' If only the Nuremberg defendants had the American media behind them to call their prosecutors "desperate" they may have just walked."

What were they thinking?

"Voter fraud, which can be committed by having someone either show up at a voting booth and vote under another person's name (or voting more than once using that method). But usually it occurs when someone submits a fraudulent absentee ballot under a false name. What ACORN canvassers were doing simply boggles the mind."

Registering to vote using different addresses is amazingly simple to do in California.

"It is troubling that ACORN, as a whole, is being hammered primarily for these phony registrations, considering that it has legitimately registered more than a million voters since 2004. There should be some balance. But ACORN must be made to answer for what is going on now - if for no other reason than to prove that this entire scheme wasn't the machination of some mad scientist and his subordinates, (all with IQs of 3), to rig the elections using a scheme that results in their getting caught thousands of times and then trying to vote under all of the false names."

The well has been poisoned.
