"I'm disappointed and unsurprised. Politicians usually promise more than they can deliver, but it seemed that Obama could deliver reconciliation and honesty. Of course there are poltical pressures against revealing too much, but they are not national security concerns, except to the extent that CIA big shots could torpedo elements of US foreign policy. It just seemed to many of us that a President Obama would heal many more of the Bush era wounds, and now he is just deepening them and wasting his political capital. He erodes the support of his voters every time he backs a Bush era policy and he puts into doubt his own stated concerns for the Constitution, civil rights, habeas corpus, and much more. Sigh!"
